Description

Public Art is defined as an artwork temporarily placed in a public space is simplistic and transformative. Works of Public Art that are designed specifically for areas physically accessible to general public and audience. Leon Lim is internationally acclaimed as an artist who will create new masterpiece on street. "The Last Chairs", public art installation will explore configurations of fact and interpretation through historical and social narratives and signs and symbols of George Town. Leon Lim was born in Kedah, schooled in Penang and is a successful artist currently living in New York City. Lim has been creating works ranging from paintings and sculptures to photography and architectural models to multimedia and art installations. Recently, Lim's work has been exhibition in Total Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul, South Korea and CAFA Art Museum in Beijing, China.
